Hunter Foster to Star in Roundabout Underground’s Ordinary Days

Lisa Brescia, Hunter Foster, Jared Gertner, and Kate Wetherhead will star in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s presentation of Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days. Part of the company’s Roundabout Underground initiative, the new musical will play the Black Box Theatre within the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, October 2-December 13, with an opening set for October 25. Marc Bruni will direct.

The musical tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives are unexpectedly interconnected by circumstance. The creative team will include Vadim Feichtner (music direction), Lee Savage (sets), Lisa Zinni (costumes) and Jeff Croiter (lights) and Danny Erdberg (sound).

Brescia’s Broadway credits include Wicked, The Times They Are A-Changin’, and The Woman in White. Foster received a Tony nomination for Little Shop of Horrors, with other Main Stem credits including The Producers and Urinetown. Gertner won an IRNE Award for the Boston production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which he also appeared in on Broadway. Wetherhead’s credits include the Broadway productions of Legally Blonde and Spelling Bee.

Gwon’s other musicals include Bernice Bobs Her Hair (with librettist Julia Jordan) and Ethan Frome. Bruni’s directing credits include Such Good Friends and Glimpses of the Moon.
