Howard McGillin, Rebecca Luker, John Lloyd Young Set for the Café Carlyle

Broadway favorites Howard McGillin and Rebecca Luker will team up for a duo show, along with solo shows by John Lloyd Young and Amanda McBroom

The iconic Café Carlyle has announced its spring cabaret season, which will kick off in January with Tony Award nominees Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera) and Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins). The Secret Garden stars’ show “Broadway Romance” will run January 15 through January 26, and will be music directed by Ted Sperling.

Singer/songwriter Amanda McBroom (most famous for writing “The Rose”) returns to the Carlyle with “A Valentine Rose” from January 29 to February 9, and Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys) will present “My Turn” February 12 through February 23.

The Café Carlyle is a New York cabaret institution, and has most recently hosted shows by Jessica Molaskey, John Pizzarelli, Christine Ebersole and Laura Osnes. In 2011, Elaine Stritch performed At Home At the Carlyle. Stritch is a resident of the Carlyle Hotel.
