Howard McGillin, Haley Bond, Rory Duffy, and Others Set for It's a Wonderful Life, The 1946 Live Radio Play
The cast of the Irish Repertory Theatre production will also include Kristin Griffith, Ian Holcomb, and Peter Maloney.
Irish Repertory Theatre will continue its season with Anthony E. Palermo's adaptation of It's A Wonderful Life: The 1946 Live Radio Play. Performances will run from December 4-December 29, with an opening on December 10. Charlotte Moore, who directed the play's premiere last season, will helm the production once again.
It's a Wonderful Life, The 1946 Live Radio Play is adapted from the original screenplay by Francis Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling. Set in a 1940s radio station in the 1940s, the show comes to life with a live sound-effects artist and six actors playing 25 characters.
The cast includes Tony nominee Howard McGillin (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Haley Bond, Rory Duffy, Kristin Griffith, Ian Holcomb, and Peter Maloney.
The production features set design by James Morgan, costume design by David Toser, lighting design by Michael O'Connor, and live sound design by Zachary Williamson.
