How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor and More to Join the Upcoming Powerhouse Theater Season

Additional casting includes Leslie Bibb, T.R. Knight, Randy Graff, and more.

New York Stage and Film and Vassar College have announced the first round of casting for the upcoming 30th year of their Powerhouse Theater collaboration. The Powerhouse Theater season will run from June 20-July 27 at Vassar College.

From June 25-July 6, How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor will headline Richard Greenberg's The Babylon Line, directed by Terry Kinney. The cast will also feature Leslie Bibb (Reasons to Be Happy), Tony Award winner Randy Graff (Les Misérables), Maddie Corman (Picnic), Julie Halston (The Divine Sister), Michael Oberholtzer (Hand to God), and Tony Award winner Frank Wood (Clybourne Park).

The large dance ensemble for In Your Arms, from July 5-13, will feature Broadway favorites Ryan Steele (Matilda The Musical), Tony Award winner Robert Morse (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Carole Shelley (Billy Elliot), and Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins' Broadway), as well as Stephen Bienskie, Christopher John Beroiz, Ashlee Dupre, Jenn Harris, Martin Harvey, Sean Martin Hingston, Laurie Kanyok, Jess Leprotto, Marielys Molina, Kristen Oei, Adesola Osakalumi, Oneika Phillips, Hayley Podschun, Glenda Sol, Brendon Stimson, Alex Michael Stoll, Samantha Sturm, and Christopher Vo. The world premiere presentation will be directed and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, with original music by Stephen Flaherty and vignettes written by Douglas Carter Beane, Nilo Cruz, Christopher Durang, Carrie Fisher, David Henry Hwang, Rajiv Joseph, Terrence McNally, Marsha Norman, Lynn Nottage, and Alfred Uhry.

T.R. Knight of Grey's Anatomy will be joined by stage and screen veteran Marylouise Burke, recently of HBO's Hung, for the first reading of David Lindsay-Abaire's Ripcord, directed by David Hyde Pierce. In addition, the reading of Gretchen Law's Turn Me Loose, directed by John Gould Rubin, will feature Joe Morton of ABC's Scandal.
