The New York Musical Theatre Festival's 2015 Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw, theater executive and producer Darren P. DeVerna, and former NYMF board chair Martin Grant. The gala will be held Sunday, November 15 at the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan.

The three honorees will be celebrated with an evening of performances by Broadway stars and NYMF alumni, directed by Mark Waldrop (Bea Arthur on Broadway: Just Between Friends).

Casey Nicholaw earned a 2011 Tony Award for his direction of The Book of Mormon. His other notable Broadway credits include Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone, Aladdin, and Something Rotten! Nicholaw will also direct and choreograph this spring's new musical Tuck Everlasting.

Darren P. DeVerna is the CEO of Global Theatrical Production for Production Resource Group LLC (PRG). With over 35 years of experience in the theater, he is responsible for the company’s global theatrical division, which includes Broadway, West End, and touring theatrical productions. He is also a partner at Grove Entertainment and is a producer of and investor in many Broadway and West End productions.

Martin Grant served for seven years as a board member, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Board of The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Grant is also a principal and financial advisor in the New York office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management where he manages investments for high-net-worth families, individuals, and foundations.

"Casey, Darren, and Martin have each made extraordinary contributions to musical theater," says Executive Director and Producer of The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Dan Markley. "We look forward to toasting these talented honorees while celebrating the success of new works in our 2015 Festival."
