Hinton Battle, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jeffrey Wright Set for Robert Johnson at 100 Benefit

Tony Award winner Jeffrey Wright and Renee Elise Goldsberry will headline Robert Johnson at 100, a benefit for the building of the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis, to be held at 8pm on Tuesday, March 6 at the Apollo Theatre in New York. The evening will be directed by Joe Morton, with musical direction by Steve Jordan.


Performers for the evening will also include the Reverend Steven Johnson, Hinton Battle, The Roots, Elvis Costello, Chuck D, Macy Gray, Living Colour, Taj Mahal, Bettye Lavette, Keb Mo, Shemekia Copeland, Todd Rundgren, Sam Moore, James Blood Moore, Otis Taylor, Dough Rollers, Sarah Dash, Sugar Blue, and the Pedrito Martinez Group.
