Heart and Lights, a song-and-dance tribute to New York City starring the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, has postponed its engagement until next year.

"While we are confident that the final production will be a spectacular, one-of-a-kind show, it has become clear that additional work is needed to deliver the unforgettable experience our customers have come to expect from us," MSG Entertainment said in a statement.

With a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright and direction and choreography by Linda Haberman, Heart and Lights features groundbreaking technology and state-of-the-art puppetry, including a 26-foot-tall Statue of Liberty. The piece follows two teenagers as they discover New York City's famous landmarks in an attempt to find out more about their family's past.

All tickets previously purchased will be refunded. The show is now expected to begin performances in 2015.
