The dance performance piece Groovaloo will return to New York, running December 1-January 3 at The Union Square Theatre. The production is created by Bradley Rapier and veteran Broadway performer Danny Cistone, and directed by Cistone.

The piece, which had a sold-out run at the Joyce Theatre earlier this fall, features a 14-member cast, and is based on the dancers’ own experiences. It will combine displays of physicality, a musical score, and spoken word poetry.

The creative team includes Charlie Morrison (lighting), Lucas Corrubia (sound), and Steven Stanton and Bradley Rapier (musical supervision).
