Jes Films and 1022m announced today that Tony Award winner Sara Ramirez (Spamalot), star of Grey’s Anatomy, has joined the producing team of the new feature film Loserville. In addition, the film will feature Ramirez's brand-new single, "Rollercoaster."

Written by Chris Bellant and Lovell Holder, the film stars Chris Bellant, Natalie Hall, Sarah Jes Austell, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Brian J. Carter, with Matt McGorry, and Darby Stanchfield. Rounding out the cast are Brendan Dooling, Marco James, and Jonathan Lipnicki. Holder directs.

Loserville follows a dorky high school outcast named Chuck (Bellant) as he navigates the wild and confusing days of his senior year. The film tackles the issue of bullying in the lives of teenagers.

Sara Ramirez, who won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, is known to television viewers as orthopedic surgeon Dr. Callie Torres on the ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy.
