Grand Total of $450,000 Raised for BC/EFA at 16th Annual Broadway Flea Market and Auction

The figures have been tallied and the results are in: At this past Sunday’s Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction, a total of $450,000 was raised to support the efforts of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The auction alone — which included 48 lots and such items as TV show walk-ons, dinner with Broadway stars, and priceless autographed theater memorabilia — brought in $156,500. The rest of the funds came from the sale of scads of donated theatrical merchandise (programs, T-shirts, posters, etc.) and from the Celebrity Table, where fans made donations in exchange for autographs and photos with their Broadway and Off-Broadway faves.
