The Tony-winning Broadway production of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage will now run at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre through at least February 28, 2010.

The play, directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus, is about a schoolyard dispute and its aftermath. As previously announced, the show is currently on a summer hiatus, and will re-open on September 8. The entire Tony-nominated cast — Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden (who won the Tony for her performance)– are contracted to perform through November 14. No casting has been announced for the additional extension.
