Gisela Adamski, Edgar Krasa, et al. Set for Signs of Life Talkbacks

Amas Musical Theatre and Snap-Two Productions will offer post-show discussions with artists, experts, and survivors of Terezin following performances of the new musical Signs of Life, which is currently playing at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre.

With book by Peter Ullian, lyrics by Len Schiff, and music by Joel Derfner, the musical is an exploration of life in the Jewish artists’ ghetto created by the Nazis in the Czech town of Terezin during World War II. Jeremy Dobrish directs, with musical direction by Michael Pettry. The company features Erika Amato, Wilson Bridges, Jason Collins, Nic Cory, Gabe Green, Patricia Noonan, Allen E. Read, Stuart Zagnit, and Kurt Zischke.

Participants in the talkbacks will include psychologist Edith Eger (February 27 matinee and evening); Robert Fischl , a relative of a Child Artist at Terezin (February 28 matinee); Barbara Siesel, daughter of a survivor, and Colby College Professor Phillip Silver (March 2 matinee); Terezin survivor Edgar Krasa (March 6 and 7 matinees); artist Fred Terna (March 6 evening); Terezin survivor Gisela Adamski (March 9 evening); Terezin survivor Sol Rosenkranz (March 16 matinee); Terezin survivor Anita Schorr and poet Stephen Herz (March 20 matinee); and Terezin survivor John Freund (March 20 evening).
