Songwriter Georgia Stitt comes to 54 Below with a concert presentation of her new musical, The Danger Year, on January 24 at 9:30pm.

The Danger Year charts one year of calamity, upheaval, and rebirth in the lives of five interconnected characters. The composer/lyricist will be joined by a host of Broadway performers including Drama Desk Award winner Derrick Baskin (Memphis), Tony nominee Kate Baldwin (Big Fish), Ta'Rea Campbell (Sister Act), Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies), Caitlin Kinnunen (The Bridges of Madison County), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Elena Shaddow (The Bridges of Madison County), and Jessica Vosk (The Bridges of Madison County), along with E.J. Zimmerman (Avenue Q national tour). Additional guests will be announced.

Three-time Tony Award winner and Stitt's husband Jason Robert Brown will direct the performance. The score is being presented publicly in New York City for the first time after a successful West End debut last fall at London’s Garrick Theatre. Stitt serves as pianist and music director for a band that includes Randy Landau on bass, Simon Kafka on guitar, Shannon Ford on drums, Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello, and Victoria Paterson on violin.
