The Geffen Playhouse has added Neil LaBute’s Some Girl(s) to its 2007-2008 season. The play, to be directed by LaBute, will play the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theatre, January 29-March 9. No casting has been announced.

Previously seen in London (with David Schwimmer in the lead) and New York (with Eric McCormack in the lead), the play concerns Guy, who travels across the country between non-descript hotel rooms re-connecting with women from his past. LaBute’s other work includes Fat Pig, which was produced last season by the Geffen, The Shape of Things, and Wrecks. He has also written and directed many films, including Your Friends and Neighbors and In the Company of Men.

The Kernis’ first will production of the season will be the world premiere of playwright/director Jane Anderson’s The Quality of Life, October 10-November 19, starring Scott Bakula, Dennis Boutsikaris, JoBeth Williams, and Laurie Metcalf.
