Gavin Creel, Rory O’Malley, and Jenny Kanelos — the co-founders of Broadway Impact, a grassroots organization of the theater community in support of marriage equality — will join the previously announced playwright Bill C. Davis and activist Tom Viola for the talkback following the Monday, March 15 performance of The Temperamentals, at New World Stages.

Jon Marans’ play takes its title from the 1950s code word for homosexual, and tells the story of communist Harry Hay and young Viennese refugee and designer Rudi Gernreich, founders of the pre-Stonewall gay rights organization, The Mattachine Society. Thomas Jay Ryan and Michael Urie star, with the cast also featuring Arnie Burton, Matthew Schneck, and Sam Bresling Wright. Jonathan Silverstein directs.

Upcoming talkbacks will feature authors Charles Kaiser and John Loughery (March 23); actress Elizabeth Ashley and director Michael Wilson (March 29); Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce and TV writer/producer Brian Hargrove (April 5); and author and activist David Mixner (April 12).

Future panelists are expected to include Marle Becker, Charles Busch, David Carter, Charles Kaiser, Frank Kameny, Tom Kirdahy, Jim McGreevey, Terrence McNally, Daryl Roth, and David Rothenberg.
