Craig Bockhorn, Shadoe Alan Brandt, Kate Levy, and Evan Pappas will join previously announced stars Tom Bosley and Michael Learned in the upcoming national tour of Ernest Thompson’s On Golden Pond, set to begin at the Ordway Performing Arts Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 22.

The tour will move on to Fort Worth, San Antonio, Nashville, Philadelphia, Tulsa, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and other cities over the next six months. The production has the same creative team as last season’s Broadway revival, which starred James Earl Jones and Leslie Uggams: director Leonard Foglia, set designer Ray Klausen, costume designer Jane Greenwood, lighting designer Brian Nason, and sound designer Dan Moses Schreier (who also composed music for the show).

Bockhorn will once again play mailman Charlie Martin, as he did in the Broadway revival. Brandt, who will play young Billy Ray, is known for his role of Sam Grey on the ABC soap opera All My Children. Levy, who will play Chelsea, starred in the national tour of The Graduate and was seen in New York last season in the Mint Theatre Company’s production of Soldier’s Wife. Pappas, who will play Bill, has appeared on Broadway in A Chorus Line, My Favorite Year, and Parade.

Bosley, who will play Norman Thayer, won a Tony Award for his performance in Fiorello! and has also starred on Broadway in such shows as Beauty and the Beast and Cabaret. He is best known for his role of Mr. Cunningham on the hit TV series Happy Days. Learned, who will play Ethel Thayer, has starred on Broadway in The Three Sisters, The Sisters Rosensweig, and Gore Vidal’s The Best Man. She is a four-time Emmy award winner for her work on the TV series The Waltons and Nurse.
