The full cast is set for Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Samson Raphaelson’s Accent on Youth, which will begin previews tonight at Broadway’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, with an official opening on April 29. Daniel Sullivan directs.

In the play, successful playwright Stephen Gaye is about to abandon his latest script, when his young secretary offers him new inspiration. With her as his muse, he stages the show on Broadway, only to learn, to his dismay, that the show’s young leading man is being inspired by her too.

The cast is led by Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce as Stephen Gaye, and also includes Lisa Banes, Rosie Benton, Curt Bouril, David Furr, Mary Catherine Garrison, Byron Jennings, Tony nominee Charles Kimbrough, and John Wernke.

The show’s creative team includes John Lee Beatty (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Brian MacDevitt (lighting), and Obadiah Eaves (sound).

Benton starred in Lincoln Center’s Saturn Returns while Furr appeared in Lincoln Center’s Cymbeline.
