Full cast and creative team have been announced for Pan Asian Repertory Theatre’s production of Shogun Macbeth, adapted by John R. Briggs from the play by William Shakespeare. Ernest Abuba will direct the production, which will play The Julia Miles Theater, November 4-December 7, with an opening set for November 12.

The work, first presented by Pan Asian Rep 20 years ago with Abuba in the lead role, channels Shakespeare’s tragic tale of power and greed to the feudal military dictatorship of 12th century Japan, a time of warring clans.

The cast will include Arthur Acuna, Calvin Ahn, Claro Austria, Claro De Los Reyes, Emi Fujinami Jones, Nadia Gan, Marcus Ho, Yoko Hyun, Sacha Iskra, Rosanne Ma, Tom Matsusaka, Ron Nakahara, Ken Park, Kaipo Schwab, Keoni Scott, and Shigeko Suga.

The creative team will include Charlie Corcoran (set), Carol Pelletier (costumes), Victor En Yu Tan (lighting), Sachiyo Ito (Japanese movement), and Michael G. Chin (fight choreography).
