The Temptations, joined by The Four Tops, will hit Broadway next month.

The Temptations and The Four Tops, two original Motown legends, will play a one-week engagement at Broadway's Palace Theatre from December 29-January 4. Robert Ahrens, Eva Price, Manny Kladitis, A Broadway Concert Event, and Live Nation Entertainment present the event.

The concert will be both a career retrospective and a celebration of the groups' hit music. Featured songs will include "My Girl," "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," "Bernadette," "Get Ready," "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)," and more.

The Temptations began their musical life in Detroit in the early '60s. It wasn't until 1964, however, that Smokey Robinson's "The Way You Do The Things You Do" turned them into stars. In 1989, with 35 Top 40 pop hits to their credit, The Temptations were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Having made their first single for Chess in 1956, The Four Tops signed with Motown's Berry Gordy Jr. when they found out they had hustled a national Tonight Show appearance. Their first Motown hit was "Baby I Need Your Loving" in 1964. The Four
Tops were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1990, with 24 Top 40 pop hits to their credit.
