The Tony-nominated Newsies will celebrate its two-year Broadway anniversary on March 29 at the Nederlander Theatre. As a thank-you to fans, the musical will offer a free ticket lottery from March 23-29.

Two and a half hours before every performance on those dates, patrons can enter a lottery for the chance to win two free tickets. Winning tickets will be drawn two hours before each performance. Winners must be present and provide valid identification at the time of the drawing. Additionally, following each performance from March 23-29, one audience member will be chosen to receive a backstage tour.

Newsies won Tony Awards for Best Original Score Written for the Theatre and Best Choreography. It features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by Harvey Fierstein. The musical is inspired by the 1992 film of the same name and tells the story of a group of tenacious newsboys at the turn of the last century who band together to form a union and lead a strike after selling prices are raised.
