Estefan, Griffin, Kors, Midler Set for Annual Hulaween Benefit

Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween Gala, benefiting the New York Restoration Project, will take place on October 31 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

The evening will feature performances by Emmy Award-winning comedian Kathy Griffin and musical guests Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine. Fashion designer Michael Kors will judge a costume contest, and renowned chef Alice Waters will receive the “Wind Beneath My Wings” award for her pioneering advocacy for locally grown and sustainably harvested food.

Celebrities who are expected to attend the benefit include Martha Stewart, Pink, the B-52s, John McEnroe and Patty Smyth, and Suze Orman. The cocktail party will feature food prepared by some of the country’s finest chefs, include April Bloomfield, David Chang, Tom Collichio, and Jonathan Waxman.
