Erik Parillo to Join Company of Perfect Crime on December 7

Erik Parillo will assume the role of Lionel McAuley in Perfect Crime, playing at the Snapple Theatre Center, on December 7. The actor is replacing Rob Sedgwick, who will play his final performance on December 6.

Parillo has performed in Russia and Ukraine as Trigorin in The Seagull and Claudius in Hamlet. In New York, he understudied Keith Carradine and Lee Godart in Mindgame. At the Zachary Scott Theatre in Austin he won a Critics Table Award for his portrayal of the brothers in Love! Valour! Compassion! and a nomination for his work as Terence in Omnium Gatherum.

Perfect Crime, written by Warren Manzi and directed by Jeffrey Hyatt, began performances April 18, 1987. The play centers on the murder of a man married to a prominent psychiatrist and the current company also features Catherine Russell, John Hillner, Patrick Robustelli, and Richard Shoberg.
