Watch Harvey Fierstein, Mary Louise Parker, and More in #EraseHate PSA

The new video is created by the Tectonic Theater Project and the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

Tectonic Theater Project has released a PSA in collaboration with the Matthew Shepard Foundation in honor of the 20th anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death, promoting their message to erase hate around the world.

Directed and conceived by Sue Kramer, the #EraseHate PSA will be followed by additional videos highlighting the importance of theater and activism, leading up to the Laramie: A Legacy (Benefit Reading) benefit on September 24 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College in New York City.

The #EraseHate PSA features Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, Emmy Award nominee Zachary Quinto, Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Matt Bomer, Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Mary Louise Parker, Tony Award winner Billy Porter, Bridget Moynahan, Obie Award winner Michael Urie, and Michael Benjamin Washington along with Judy and Dennis Shepard and Moisés Kaufman.

The video also features an original song written in honor of Matthew Shepard by music veterans Andy Hollander and Dana Parish and performed by Dana Parish titled "Love Is Love." The song will be available on iTunes on June 22, with all proceeds benefiting the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
