Ellen Greene to Guest Star on NBC’s Upcoming Series Hannibal

Stage and screen favorite Ellen Greene will reunite with her Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller when she guest stars on Fuller’s upcoming series Hannibal, the actress revealed in an interview with TheaterMania.com.

The upcoming NBC thriller serial, based on the novels by Thomas Harris, follows the relationship between forensic psychiatrist and noted cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter (to be played by Mads Mikkelsen) and FBI Special Agent Will Graham (played by Hugh Dancy).

Greene revealed that she is soon flying to Toronto to tape an appearance as a socialite friend of Dr. Lecter.

No premiere date for the series has been announced.
