Edgar Oliver, Richard Maxwell, et al. Set for PS 122’s COIL Festival

The line-up has been announced for Performance Space 122’s COIL Festival, to be presented January 6-17 in multiple venues around the city, in conjunction with
Under The Radar, 3LD Art & Technology Center, Abrons Arts Center, and the Jewish Community Center. Several of the performances also extend beyond the dates of the festival.

Richard Maxwell and his NYC Players will present the world premiere of Ads at PS 122, January 6-31. The piece is presented in collaboration with photographer/cinematographer Michael Schmelling and Wooster Group technical director Bozkurt Karasu. Edgar Oliver will bring back his solo show East 10th Street: Portrait with Empty House, to perform at PS 122, January 6-17. Randall Sharp directs.

Other theater artists presenting work in the festival include Tom Creed / Raymond Scannell, Wax Factory, Rotozaza, Temporary Distortion, Giselle Vienne, Katie Pearl and Lisa D’Amour, Reid Farrington, and The National Theatre of the United States of America. Dancers/choreographers in the festival include Maria Hassabi, Morgan Thorson, Megan Sprenger, Emily Johnson with PearlDAmour, and LeeSaar The Company.
