East Fourth Street FAB Arts Festival Set for September 18

Fourth Arts Block (FAB), a team of cultural and community organizations resident on East Fourth Street in Manhattan, will present a day-long Fourth Arts Block Festival/Festival de la Calle Cuatro on Saturday, September 18.

The Rod Rodgers Dance Company, Alpha Omega Dance Company, Instituto Arte Teatral Internacional (IATI), The Fort Greene Project, Dancer Yoshiko Chuma, Kinding Sindaw, Salsa singer Rolando Candelario, puppeteer Federico Restrepo, and musicians Gina Young and Madison Mason are all scheduled to perform in the festival. Activities will include theater, dance, music, film, video, crafts, building tours, and family activities.


FAB was created in 2000 to preserve, develop, and promote the unique cultural nature of the block. The Fourth Arts Block Festival/Festival de la Calle Cuatro is free and open to the public; all events will take place between 11am and 6pm on East Fourth Street between Second Avenue and the Bowery.
