Douglas Carter Beane, Donna Lynne Champlin Set for Transport Group’s Dark Night Events

Transport Group has announced two upcoming “Dark Night Events,” to be held during the run of the company’s revival of Michael John LaChiusa’s Hello Again, at 52 Mercer Street.
On Monday, March 21 at 8pm will be Dark Night with Donna Lynne Champlin, featuring the Obie Award winner in a musical evening.
On Monday, March 28 at 8pm will be Conversation & Cocktails with Douglas Carter Beane, featuring the Tony-nominated playwright talking with Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III about his career. An all-star cast, to be announced, will perform scenes and songs from Beane’s hit shows such as Xanadu, and the evening will also provide a first glimpse from Transport Group’s upcoming production of Beane and Lewis Flinn’s new musical, Lysistrata Jones.
