Broadway veteran and recording star Donny Osmond will participate in a question-and-answer session, live from Salt Lake City, as part of nationwide screenings of a sing-along film version of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, in which he stars. The broadcasts will be seen at select theaters in the U.S. on Monday, March 26 and Wednesday, April 4.

The pre-recorded version of this fully staged production, originally shot in 1999 at London’s Pinewood Studios and specially remastered for this in-theater event, will also feature an introduction by Osmond, plus an animated opening sequence which features an 80-piece orchestra.

In addition to Osmond as the title character, the cast includes Maria Friedman as the Narrator, Joan Collins as Mrs. Potiphar, and Sir Richard Attenborough as Jacob. The musical follows the biblical story of Jacob and his 12 sons.

NCM Fathom Events and Omniverse Vision are presenting the event, which will be seen in nearly 550 select movie theaters across the country through NCM’s exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.
