Donna Lynne Champlin, Barbara Feldon, et al. Set for Encore Awards; NYMF and TheaterMania Among Honorees

Broadway veteran and OBIE Award winner Donna Lynne Champlin and members of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s will provide entertainment at the Arts & Business Council of New York’s 45th annual Encore Awards, to be held at TheTimesCenter (242 W. 41st Street), on Tuesday, May 25, beginning at 5pm.

TheaterMania.com and New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will jointly receive an Arts & Business Partnership award at the ceremony, with other awardees including WNYC & WQXR; Marianne C. Lockwood, President Orchestra of St. Luke’s; and Free Arts NYC & Deutsche Bank.

The awards will be emceed by WQXR Radio’s Elliott Forrest. Presenters will include actress Barbara Feldon, perhaps best known as Agent 99 on Get Smart, who serves on the board of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s; world-class cellist and classical music innovator David Finckel; and New York City’s first Chief Service Officer, Diahann Billings-Burford.

In addition, Bill Moggridge and Laura R. Walker will inaugurate the Encore Exchange, a dialogue on arts and business innovation, to be moderated by Kurt Andersen, host and co-creator of Studio 360.
