Dixon, Ross, et al. to Join Patrick Page in Broadway’s Grinch

Full casting has been announced for Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, which will play Broadway’s St. James Theatre, November 1- January 6, with an official opening set for November 9. The production will be directed by Matt August; it is conceived and supervised by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien.

As previously announced, Patrick Page will return for the second year consecutive year to play the title role. He will be joined by Ed Dixon (Old Max), Rusty Ross (Young Max), Darin DePaul (Grandpa Seth Who), Aaron Galligan-Stierle (Jo Who), Tari Kelly (Mama Who), Caroline London (Cindy Lou Who), Jan Neuberger (Grandma Who), and Athena Ripka (Cindy Lou Who).

The ensemble will feature Jahaan Amin, Juliette Allen Angelo, Hunter Bell, Janet Dickinson, Sky Flaherty, Eamon Foley, Sami Gayle, Brianna Gentilella, Amy Griffin,
Joseph Harrington, Michael Hoey, Carly Hughes, Kurt Kelly, Liesl Jaye, Jess Le Protto,
Marina Micalizz, Katie Micha, Jillian Mueller, Andy Richardson, Josephine Rose Roberts,
William Ryall, Jordan Samuels, Johnny Schaffer, Jeff Skowron, Tianna Jane Stevens,
Heather Tepe, and Janelle Viscomi.

The Grinch is based on the beloved Dr. Seuss tale that was published in 1957. The musical has book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin; it also includes the Albert Hague songs “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas” from the classic animated TV film based on the story.

The creative team includes John DeLuca and Bob Richard (choreography), John Lee Beatty (sets), Robert Morgan (costumes), Pat Collins (lighting), Acme Sound Partners (sound), Michael Starobin (orchestrations), Joshua Rosenblum (music direction and arrangements), and Michael Curry (puppetry).
