DeLaria, Kron, Kudisch, Kurtz, Rogers, Rubin-Vega et al. Set for 13P Benefit

Lisa Kron will host 13P: Undone, a benefit for the OBIE-winning collective of 13 playwrights, to be held at Joe’s Pub, Tuesday, May 13. Anne Kauffman will direct.

The event will feature the unproduced or little known work of Christopher Durang, John Guare, Michael John LaChiusa, and Stephen Sondheim.

Scheduled performers will include: Lea DeLaria, Jessica Hecht, Marc Kudisch, Swoosie Kurtz, Michael John LaChiusa, Reg Rogers, and Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Admission will include reserved seating at Joe’s Pub, entrance to the silent and live auctions and post-show reception with cast and 13 playwrights. Some of the top auction items will include a song portrait by Stew, where the writer and star of the hit Broadway musical Passing Strange will write a song for you, about you; two tickets to the opening night of Hair at Shakespeare in the Park this summer, plus two passes to party with the cast at Belvedere Castle after the show; and lunch with Tony-winning choreographer Bill T. Jones.

The evening will benefit 13P’s upcoming season, which will include plays by Sheila Callaghan and Lucy Thurber.
