Gingold Theatrical Group’s Project Shaw will present its 101st production, Shaw’s 1892 comedy Widowers’ Houses, on February 23 at Symphony Space‘s Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre. Founding Artistic Director David Staller directs.

The production will feature Tony nominee Daniel Davis (La Cage aux Folles), Ed Dixon (Mary Poppins), Sarah Rose Kearns, Bill Kux (The Trip to Bountiful), Lisa O’Hare (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Matthew Rauch (The Merchant of Venice), and David Turner (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever).

Set in 1892, Widowers’ Houses is Shaw’s first play. A scathing look at the ethics of making money, it follows a young doctor who learns that his future father-in-law has earned his wealth by renting slum housing to the poor.

Now celebrating its 10th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw was the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays, including full-length works, one-acts, and sketches.
