David Sedaris Adds May 7 Engagemennt to Brooklyn Academy of Music Appearance

David Sedaris will appear at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on May 7 at 7:30pm to celebrate the release of his new book, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary. This evening has been added due to audience demand: his previously announced appearance at the venue on May 8 has sold out.

Both evenings will feature Sedaris offering recollections and readings from this his new book of comically acerbic fables.

Sedaris’ other books include Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, as well as Santaland Diaries, which has become a popular holiday time solo show. In addition, he is a regular National Public Radio contributor.
