David and Joseph Zellnik are Kickstarting a Yank! Cast Album

David and Joseph Zellnik’s hit musical Yank!, which ran off-Broadway at the York Theatre Company in 2010, will now receive an original cast album. Members of the original cast will be recorded performing the show by PS Classics, and additional funds for the project are being raised with a Kickstarter campaign.
Cast members who will reprise their Yank! roles for the album include Bobby Steggert (Big Fish), Ivan Hernandez (Into the Woods), Nancy Anderson (Far From Heaven), Jeffry Denman (White Christmas), Tally Sessions (Big Fish), Andrew Durand (War Horse), David Perlman (Baby It’s You!), Chris Ruth (Happy Days – The Musical), Joe Medeiros (The Blue Flower), Zak Edwards (No, No, Nanette!), and Todd Faulkner (Nurse Jackie).
Yank! tells a love story about two American servicemen during World War II, long before “don’t ask don’t tell” was even part of the national discussion.
