Full casting has been announced for LCT3’s second production of its inaugural season, David Adjmi’s Stunning, to play the Duke on 42nd Street, June 1-27, with an opening set for June 18. The production will be directed by Anne Kauffman.

The play, which is set in Brooklyn’s Syrian-Jewish community, tells the story of Lily (Cristin Milioti), a teenager newly married to a much older man (Danny Mastrogiorgio), whose sheltered life is disrupted when Blanche (Charlayne Woodard) enters her life.
The cast will also include Sas Goldberg, Steven Rattazzi, and Jeanine Serralles.

The creative team includes David Korins (sets), Miranda Hoffman (costumes), Japhy Weideman (lighting), and Rob Kaplowitz (sound).

Adjmi’s other plays include Strange Attractors, The Evildoers, and Caligula. Kauffman’s many directorial credits include The Thugs, God’s Ear, and Act A Lady. Woodard, a celebrated playwright as well as performer, has been seen on stage in such shows as Ain’t Misbehavin’, Fabulation, Pretty Fire, and The Night Watcher.

LCT3, Lincoln Center’s new initiative for new work, earlier presented Matt Sax’s solo show Clay, which recently received 2009 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for Outstanding Solo Performance.
