Danny Glover to Give Keynote Address at BAM’s Martin Luther King Tribute

Broadway veteran and film star Danny Glover will give the keynote address at the 24th annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.–Come Share the Dream, to be held in the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, on Monday, January 18 at 10:30am.

The event will also include musical performances by the New Life Tabernacle Mass Choir and Kenny Muhammad The Human Orchestra. The program also features free screenings of Soundtrack for a Revolution at BAM Rose Cinemas. Deputy Borough President Yvonne J. Graham will serve as Master of Ceremonies, and speakers will also include Borough President Marty Markowitz, Medgar Evers College President Dr. William Pollard, BAM President Karen Brooks Hopkins, and BAM Executive Producer Joseph V. Melillo.

Admission is free. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-seated basis starting at 8am in the BAM lobby.
