Tony Award winner Victoria Clark (Cinderella) and Drama Desk Award winner Danny Burstein (Golden Boy) will join the previously announced Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) in the upcoming Manhattan Theatre Club and MCC Theater co-Broadway production of Sharr White’s The Snow Geese. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, previews begin at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on October 1 in advance of an October 24 opening.

Evan Jonigkeit (Really Really), Christopher Innvar (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess), Brian Cross, and Jessica Love (Cross and Love are making their Broadway debuts in the show) will also be featured in the World War I-era drama. Set in upstate New York, The Snow Geese follows the newly widowed Elizabeth Gaesling (Parker) as she comes to terms with her life following the overseas deployment of her eldest son (Jonigkeit) and the realization by her youngest son (Cross) that their father left them deeply in debt.

The creative team for The Snow Geese includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Jane Greenwood (costume design), Japhy Weideman (lighting design), Dan Moses Schreier (original music and sound design), Rocco DiSanti (projection design), Tom Watson (hair and wig design), Rick Sordelet (fight director), and Mimi Lieber (dances).

Sullivan and Parker reunite for the first time since he directed her Tony-winning performance in Broadway’s Proof, also for Manhattan Theatre Club. The Snow Geese marks the second collaboration between MTC, MCC, and playwright Sharr White; the first was last season’s production of The Other Place. As recently announced, Clark will take leave from the Broadway production of Cinderella, in which she costars, and will be replaced in that show by Burstein’s wife, Rebecca Luker.
