Dan Callaway, Cynthia Ferrer, Shannon Warne, et al. Concert Performance of Anyone Can Whistle

Musical Theatre West has announced casting for a staged concert performance of Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents’ Anyone Can Whistle, to be offered Sunday, May 15 at University Theater on the CSU Long Beach. Richard Israel will direct the performance, which will have musical direction by Daniel Thomas and choreography by John Todd.

The musical centers on the topsy-turvy events that transpire when Nurse Fay Apple and her wards from the local sanitorium, The Cookie Jar, travel to a bankrupt town to take the supposedly healing waters from a rock that has recently sprung a leak.

The cast will feature Cynthia Ferrer, Shannon Warne, Dan Callaway, Norman Large, Victor Hernandez, Paul David Bryant, Shauna Markey, Jeffrey Parsons, Daniel Smith and Jennifer Strattan.
