Curtis Holbrook, Dee Hoty, Michele Ragusa, and More Set for York April Readings

Casting has been announced for the York Theatre Company’s two upcoming readings, presented as part of the company’s 2009 developmental free reading series.

Linda Balgord, Matthew Gumley, Curtis Holbrook, Dee Hoty, Mark Price, and Tom Alan Robbins will star in Shooting Star: The Bobby Driscoll Story, April 16 at 3 pm. The musical features book, music, and lyrics by Michael E. Dansicker, to David Zippel.

Ken Kantor, Michele Ragusa, John Dewar, Michael McGowan, Rob Richardson, Ron Brown, and Sara Clark will star in Dreamland: A Musical Play on April 21, at 3 pm. The show features music by Eric Rockwell, lyrics by Joanne Bogart, and book by William J. Brooke, based on The Gentle People, by Irwin Shaw.
