Conklin, Lee, Yeargan to Speak at Musuem of the City of New York

Designers John Conklin, Ming Cho Lee, and Michael Yeargan will join Columbia University professor Arnold Aronson for a panel discussion at the Museum of the City of New York at 6:30pm on Thursday, March 27. The discussion is in conjunction with Setting the Stage: Scenic Designs by Donald Oenslager, which is on exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York through May 4.

Setting the Stage includes designs, sketches, and models by Oenslager for such shows as Girl Crazy, Red, Hot, and Blue!, My Sister Eileen, You Can't Take It With You, Margin for Error, and Singin' the Blues. Oenslager won a Tony Award in 1959 in A Majority of One and retired in 1970. He also worked on numerous operas and ballets during his long career.
