Motown producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris, and Berry Gordy have announced plans for "Makin' It Motown," a nationwide open casting call for performers to join both the Broadway production and the upcoming national tour. Auditions will be held on Friday, September 13, on the stage of the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, Motown's Broadway home, as well as The Oriental Theatre in Chicago where the musical will launch its national tour.

Motown is seeking African-American male and female singers in their 20s-40s, as well as an African-American boy between the ages of 8 and 13 (no prior experience necessary) to play young Michael Jackson/Berry Gordy/Stevie Wonder.
