The Clint Eastwood-helmed adaptation of Broadway's Jersey Boys will close the L.A. Film Festival on June 19. The film, which will play during the festival's closing-night gala, will be released on June 20.

Jersey Boys is based on the true-life story of The Four Seasons, which comprised Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi. The musical chronicles the lives of a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop-music sensations of all time. Their beloved songs include "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," and more.

The film stars Christopher Walken as Mobster Gyp DeCarlo as well as John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, and Vincent Piazza.

The Los Angeles Film Festival showcases the best in new American and international cinema and provides the public with access to some of the most critically acclaimed filmmakers, film industry professionals, and emerging new talent. This year's festival will run from June 11-19.
