The film adaptation of the Broadway musical will be released next year.
Long-running Broadway favorite Jersey Boys is finally making it to the silver screen in a new film helmed by multi-Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood, according to Variety. The movie will be released June 20.
Jersey Boys is based on the true-life story of The Four Seasons, which comprised Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi. Their beloved songs include "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," and more.
The film is set to star Christopher Walken as Mobster Gyp DeCarlo as well as John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, and Vincent Piazza.
