Classic Stage Company Extends David Ives’ School for Lies Through May 29

Classic Stage Company has announced a one week extension of its critically acclaimed production of The School for Lies, which will now close on Sunday, May 29. Walter Bobbie has directed the production.

David Ives’ new comedy is adapted from the Molière classic The Misanthrope. The cast features Alison Fraser, Mamie Gummer, Jenn Gambatese and Hamish Linklater, as well as Steven Boyer, Frank Harts, Rick Holmes, Hoon Lee and Matthew Maher.

The production has scenery by John Lee Beatty, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski, hair design by Paul Huntley and sound by Acme Sound Partners.
