Two-Time Tony Winner Christine Baranski to Be Honored by Manhattan Theatre Club

The ”Good Wife” star will be feted by the producing organization.

Manhattan Theatre Club will honor stage and screen vet Christine Baranski at the organization's annual fall benefit, taking place Monday, November 2, at 583 Park Avenue.

Baranski won Tony Awards for The Real Thing and Rumours, and her many stage credits include The House of Blue Leaves, Hurlyburly, and Boeing-Boeing. Her film credits include Mamma Mia! and Chicago. She received an Emmy Award for Cybill and has received additional nominations for Frasier and for her role as Diane Lockhart on the current CBS hit The Good Wife.

The evening will feature appearances by Baranski's friends and colleagues including her Good Wife costars Julianna Margulies and Alan Cumming, her Into the Woods and Mamma Mia! costar Meryl Streep, Nathan Lane (It's Only a Play), Cherry Jones (Doubt), and many more.

Richard Maltby Jr. (Waterfall) is helping to conceive and will direct the evening. The creative team will include John Lee Beatty, Ben Stanton, Dan Gerhard, Eric Svejcar, and Todd Cross.
