Chita Rivera’s And Now I Swing CD to Feature Music from The Visit

Tony Award winner Chita Rivera performs music from John Kander and Fred Ebb’s The Visit on her new solo studio album And Now I Swing, which will be released on October 13 by the newly-launched Yellow Sound Label. Rivera starred in the show’s acclaimed production at Virginia’s Signature Theatre Company alongside George Hearn.

Swing will also feature new interpretations of classic theater songs such as “Nowadays,” “Where Am I Going,” and “I Don’t Remember You.” Additionally, popular standards such as “Carousel” and “More Than You Know” are featured on the disc.

As previously reported, Rivera will be performing at Birdland, October 14-17. In January, she will begin a tour of her concert Chita Rivera: My Broadway.
