Broadway star and 30 Rock actor Cheyenne Jackson will sing the original song, “Ask the Universe,” at Life Ball 2011, to be held in Vienna on May 21.

Life Ball, now in its 19th year, is the biggest charity event in Europe supporting people with HIV or AIDS. President Clinton and UNAIDS Executive Director Michael Sidibe will open the Life Ball Aids Solidarity formal event in the ceremony hall of the Viennese yard castle.

Brooke Shields, who will be joining the cast of Broadway’s The Addams Family this summer, will present an award honoring leaders in the HIV / AIDS communities.

Performers will also include pop sensation Janet Jackson; violinists Nigel Kennedy, and Natasha Bedingfield; and Austrian artists such as Lukas Plöchl, Eddie Cole, Rounder Girls, and Dorretta Carter.
