Charles Strouse, Alan Menken, Hal David Set for Songs of Our Lives Benefit Concert

Charles Strouse, Alan Menken and Hal David are among the songwriters who will perform in The Songs of Our Lives: Performed by the Songwriters Who Wrote Them on December 8 at 7:00pm at the Little Flower Theatre at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Tony Walton will direct the performance.

This evening, which will feature songwriters talking about — and performing — the songs they wrote, is a benefit concert for the school. Other scheduled participants include LaGuardia alumnus Charles Fox, along with Alan Bergman, Paul Williams, and David Zippel. Additionally, the work of other school alums including Marilyn Bergman, Cy Coleman, and Ed Kleban, will be performed during the evening.
