Charles Busch, Michael Lynch, KT Sullivan et al. to Salute Doric Wilson at March 16 TOSOS Benefit logo

Charles Busch, currently starring Off-Broadway in The Divine Sister, will make a special guest appearance at a cabaret benefit for the theater company TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), to be held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Wednesday, March 16 at 9:30pm. The evening will celebrate Doric Wilson's 50 years as a playwright. Mark Finley will direct, with musical direction by Steve Ross.

Wilson's career began on March 18, 1961, with the production of his play, And He Made a Her, a feminist take on Adam and Eve, at the Caffe Cino on Cornellia Street. It was directed by Paxton Whitehead and starred Jane Lowry as Eve.

Performers at the benefit will include Joanne Beretta, Alex Bond, Christopher Borg, J.Stephen Brantley, Morry Campbell, Lodi Carr, Jamie Heinlein, Robert Locke, Michael Lynch, Susan Marie Pierson, Scott Ross, Zachary Stains, Karen Stanion, KT Sullivan, Aaron Tone, and Chris Weikel.

Accompanying KT Sullivan will be Jon Weber, and accompanying Michael Lynch will be Steve Kaufman.
