Chamberlin, Fitzgerald, Gambatese, Henshall, Jenkins, et al. to Join Chenoweth in Stairway to Paradise

Kevin Chamberlin, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jenn Gambatese, Ruthie Henshall, and Capathia Jenkins are among the performers to join previously announced star Kristin Chenoweth in the City Center Encores! production of Stairway to Paradise, May 10-14.

The production will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks and feature music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Warren Carlyle. The creative team also includes John Lee Beatty (scenic consultant), William Ivey Long (costume consultant), Paul Gallo (lighting design), and Tom Morse (sound design).

The show’s principal cast will also include Holly Cruikshank, Michael Gruber, Kendrick Jones, J. Mark McVey, and Shonn Wiley. The ensemble will feature Timothy J. Alex, Robin Campbell, Erin Crouch, Susan Derry, Lianne Marie Dobbs, Emily Fletcher, Bob Gaynor, Laura Griffith, Dale Hensley, Renee Klapmeyer, Barrett Martin, Sean McKnight, James Patterson, Eric Santagata, Kiira Schmidt, Dennis Stowe, Sarrah Strimel, Kevin Vortmann, J.D. Webster, and Teal Wicks.

The original revue, which will feature songs from 50 years of Broadway revues and musicals, will include such classic songs as “Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?” “Manhattan,” “This is the Army,” “Suppertime,” and “I’ll Guess I’ll Have to Change My Plan.”
